April On The Move...

Howdy Y'all!
Wow, April is just on the move, I can't believe its half over!
The first week of April found us in KS for a cousins wedding reception and Jason had to be in Kansas City for work.  I took the kiddos to the Omaha Zoo, as I have been telling the boys I would do that the last over a year...we met Jason's parents there on their way back from Minnesota.  The Omaha Zoo is fantastic!

One day we surprised cousin Josiah by picking him up at school and then taking him home and staying for a bit...

A fun day at Ma and Pa Meyer's...

Dandelion Art...
Bundled up...its a new thing :)
Jadon got his love of fishing filled for a few minutes, we brought back to TX a lot of frozen fish!
The unexpected Saturday...getting things done like crazy outside and an extra pop-in visit from Elli and the boys...pushing...
 ...being pushed...
 ...goat chores...
...not sure 'who' we are actually feeding-LOL!...

 ...oh, but it is fun!...
...heading back to the barn from feeding the goats...
 ...one last book...
...sharing a snack...
Swinging with Daddy!
 Kirk Zip-lining :)
Miss our hammock here in TX...it is a favorite spot in nice weather!
Resurrection Cookies :)
 ...Kirk's favorite egg---Thanks Papa Meyer!
 Just some 'egg-xtra' fun :)
A sequence of pictures that showed the sequence of events that replayed--over and over again for a long time....she was happy, that's all that counts-lol!

Early morning reading out back...
 Miss 'Jadon'...
 Helping cook...
 Jadon's engineering skills...lego creation!
Our first attempt in roasting our first batch of SWP Decaf Sumatra green coffee beans...our Whirley Pop decided to have a few issues, and the beans got a little TOO done!  The neighbors probably thought we were trying to smoke them out-lol!  It doesn't taste too horrible, just definitely DARKER than anything we have ever tasted, and if we are going to drink coffee--we like it dark!
Fun in the sprinkler, on the trampoline...
...on the concrete in front of garage...

An archeology presentation and going to a 'dig' and finding some fossils for school yesterday-FUN!

Kirk's gecko, Dotty, resides here now...RIP.
Blessings and enjoy the rest of Y'all's April days!

  1. I SO enjoyed running into you outside the coffee shop! Definitely have to make it a little longer next time so the girlies can play.
