October's Breezes
Hello All :)
October's Breezes found us enjoying and soaking up many small moments: some fun and great and some, not so easy, to wade through. The last ones don't often get caught in pictures, but just remember, they are just as present as the fun and wonderful moments caught in tidbit pictures :)
October's Breezes caught in the camera lenses...
...Northern lights from our backyard...
...a quick getaway weekend for Jason and myself, plus Keke...these two held down the fort doing chores, Kirk spending some quality time with sister(which she loved). Thanks to the friends that made sure Janessa was secure and safe while Kirk and a buddy did a run one of the mornings--it was a blessing to know she wouldn't be a pack of nerves...
...yummy ice cream :)...
...the cast still slowing us down big time...she at least has clearance for hobbling around at this point...
...she loved the weekend away...probably more than mom did with all the hotel issues! The hotel issues was something that could of been done without this getaway. All-in-all I am glad we still gathered some precious memories and smiles!...
...and these pics we found in the camera roll...oh, KeKe :D...
...the glory and splendor of the skies...
...deer in the morning moseying through the pasture...
...moon pictures by Kirk...actually a good chunk of these pictures are by Kirk ;P...
...for over a month we had anywhere from 15-30 Whistling ducks on our pond at all times...such a cool and unique duck...
...a fun swim in October with these girlies...KeKe came later and was just so glad to get to come, willingly stayed dry playing around the pool versus in the pool :)...
...what a fun ride with this super sweet, kind, caring friend, aka, the Funion lady :)...
...morning rays just add a touch of 'majestic' to these critters and shots...
...LOVE this kitty's orange tones...
...she can finally be up gimping around and she is totally okay with this increase in mobility...
...this furball waiting to beg for treats once the sauna session is done, lol!...
...what a surprise and unexpected blessing to help KeKe pass the time away with limited movement...
...getting ready to go through some paces...
...thank you! This coffee was delicious...
...wanting to help ;) She asks often if there is anything she can do to help: it is so sweet!...
...the smile these put on her face...
...both snuggled up for bedtime reading...
...loved these treats...
...saying a big thank you :)...
...G'ma sent the best blankets...favorite animal and some of their favorite colors!...
...yes, I accept these after-nap cuddles...
...an Over The Rainbow treat...
...the MuddPie Run in Cisco that Kirk and a friend ran in...
...and Dad has decided that if he is going to already be at a running race, he might as well run the 5k vs. just sitting on the sidelines...it has allowed a little friendly rivalry between Dad and son :)...
...the Puttin' Out The Firefighter Run with a group of friends...
...on Jadon's birthday, his cow, Dulce, had a heifer calf...such a small detail, but also neat that his cow had a calf on his birthday...the calf is such a cutie!...
...Kirk is heading back to Africa this next spring with a mission team from our church...he has been baking for it...he spent a couple of very full long days baking and filling orders. He has a few more orders to fill and then will be done. Proud of him for taking the initiative in putting forth the effort to raise his own money for travel for this trip...
...a cool birthday gift Kirk received from one of his friends...
...Jason and Janessa did a Bible card for Chapel at CCA...I think they had fun doing this one this year ;)...
...enjoying some time on Rosie :)...although, lol, one girl is pretty much too big to ride on Rosie...
...and speaking of Jadon's birthday...we didn't get to celebrate in person, but sent some home-ade cookies to him to help celebrate his 19th birthday!! We love you son and are so thankful we can call you son!! You are a blessing and we hope you had an awesome day and look forward to celebrating your birthday in person when you are on break. Here is a collage of pics from some major endurance training events, wilderness survival week, emergency wilderness medical scenarios, navigation and emergency medical training, and more...
...Rojo, the bull, and Maizy, the goose, facing off over the duck food...and guess who won? Small but mighty wins in this fight every time, LOL!...
...the seniors had a Senior dress-up day...what they could potentially look like in their future aged self...lol...
...the duck eggs are hatching!...we have decided it's very hard to hatch duck eggs, as we only had two ducklings make it out alive...they are the cutest and tamest little guys though..and are spoiled rotten!...
...have I ever mentioned that Jason has never seemed fond of the ducks or goose??? ...well, this scene below was all Daddy's idea...LOL, maybe he doesn't mind them as much as he makes it seem :P...
...is he alive?!?!?!
...celebrating this sweet young lady's 9th birthday...wow, how can it be she is 9?!...it really doesn't seem possible! We love her so much and couldn't ask for a better oldest daughter. We are privileged and blessed to be her parents...Mom and daughter lunch date for her birthday and then cake and gifts in the evening for this birthday gal :)...
...someone FINALLY exchanged a hard leg cast for a 'cast' of boundaries and limitations without the hard cast...the first day after her cast was off, found her enjoying life to the fullest!...
...some pics of the Comet Tsuchinchan-Atlas...super cool!...
Blessings everyone as you meander through November!
