Blazes of October

Howdy folks :)

Well, the pictures uploaded backward through the month...so, we are going to roll with it, due to time being such a precious commodity in our current season of life and the season of holiday gatherings and festivities.  Enjoy the Blazes of October!

...HOW can she be 8?!?!?!?  It felt like just yesterday I was headed into the hospital to deliver her and then the months after pacing the floor with her colic issues...and BAM...she is already 8 and that season of survival and endurance is a memory.  It makes one really focus on being intentional when you pause to think just how fast time does fly...we LOVE her!!!

...Gray didn't have a rider at riding lessons one day, so KeKe got to ride on him with me leading him around the arena...she absolutely loved it and rode for 40 minutes...
...this great group of guys ran the Puttin' Out the Fire 5K for firefighters...this is post-race...
...Kirk finished 3rd in his age group...
...Jadon finishing 1st in his age group and 3rd overall...

...18!!!!  I do not like how time can be a thief...it was just yesterday he was a determined, strong-willed tike...we love him more than he will know!  We are thankful for his desire to be an intentional, purposeful, entrepreneur, pursuing a Christ-filled life young man who also has a tender and compassionate heart...you are a blessing to life, our family, and those around you Jadon...

...Kirk is in a baking club through Logos Online School...we have been having many yummy baked goods being made in our house...maybe not the best for the waistline :S...

...a Chocolate Zucchini Cake recipe from a great aunt...

...Ube cupcakes...literally some of the best cupcakes EVER!...
...reading books and getting warm, as the oldest sister waits to head to campus day...
...we stopped to pick up honey...which turned into pictures with the pumpkins, which turned into buying a couple of pumpkins :D...

...my errand side-kick...she is kind of cute...
...a treat earned to Over The Rainbow ice cream...do you think they are enjoying it?...
