October's Ombre
Howdy, Y'all :)
October's Ombres were many things fading into one another. Once again, this computer decided to upload my pictures in the incorrect order. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong, please say and no offense taken...tech stuff and I do not always mix, LOL!!! So here we go through the month in more of a reverse mode but yet somewhat scrambled even from that.
...the beauty that comes after the rain...
...this sweet girlie had her 7th birthday....HOW?! She was just my little tiny extremely colicky baby yesterday!! I love her so though! We all do! She livens up our crew and is a kind, compassionate, caring, and sweet young lady with maybe a smidge of spice that pops through once in a while :) Happy Birthday Nessa! And she has begged for about a year to get a cake pop, and we made a trip JUST to get a cake pop finally, lol...
...for her birthday, she wanted Mommy/daughter time, so we went shopping in Abilene...she picked out this cake to bring home to celebrate with the rest of our family crew...
...she wanted to eat out, so we did. We shared a meal and then they brought this birthday dessert and sang a very lively 'happy birthday to her, that she was not too sure about...
...snapshots from our family photo shoot by Stuard Images...loved how they all turned out...
...calming down for the evening immersed in books together...this is such a common, but yet such a sweet, sweet sight in our household right now...
...getting a couple of pumpkins...
...KeKe attempting to do her own roasting, lol!...
...why yes, she thinks she is WAY more capable beyond her age, lol :D...
...17!!!!! I have a love/hate relationship with my kiddos' birthdays! I love seeing them grow into confident, capable, kind, caring, responsible, God-fearing adults, but I cannot believe they are getting so old. Happy Birthday Jadon! We love you more than you'll know and are thankful for you! You add so much to our family crew...we celebrated his birthday with a few of his best friends/families...
...Mayborn Museum in Waco...

...getting ready to go on a bike ride on a gorgeous evening...
...some delicious lunch Jason and I shared on our weekend getaway...it was an enjoyable weekend with just KeKe and sightseeing in San Angelo...
...the Buttercup coffee shop had the BEST coffee we have had in a LONG time! A dry cappuccino and traditional macchiato...both were amazing and very authentic...
...getting ready to walk the river walk...
...a monarch butterfly migration hit the same time we were there...it was amazing! Butterflies were flying all over everywhere...you could not escape them anywhere...
...one of the many painted sheep throughout the city...
...getting ready to grab some ice cream at the ice cream shop behind these two precious people...
...some of the murals were quite impressive...
...this international water lily garden was a rare and wonderful find! Who would have thought that in West Texas there is this type of garden and people from all over the world come to it? Even some countries have come to replenish their countries' water lilies...amazing!...
...the variety of colors was astounding...
...while we were gone with KeKe, our three other kids held the fort down by themselves and then they got to hang out with this sweet family for a while...it was great knowing they were capable to hold the fort down and enjoying time with some great friends, while we refueled our tanks with a bit slower pace for a couple of days...
See ya' around :)
