September's Sunrays

Hello to everyone :)
A little late on the September blog, but better late than never!
September's Sunrays saw us jetting into a full school schedule for everyone and a few extracurricular activities starting back up.  The first 2-3 weeks of September's Sunrays weren't exactly sunny feeling, as this crew was a bit stressed and maxed out trying to find a rhythm, balance, and schedule that worked for all this school year and get back into a daily groove from traveling.  And I ended up having an emergency oral surgery in the midst of all this. In all situations though, if one looks for blessings, they are there!  That is why I decided to call this month, September's Sunrays; sunrays make a cloudy sky more beautiful, just as focusing on the blessings makes life brighter!
...have I ever said just how blessed we are with some of the BEST neighbors: if not, we are truly blessed with the best!  A mug from a sweet, sweet neighbor during a stressful day and a great reminder to look for the blessings :)...
...working on schoolwork, with a snack tray, outside with little sister...what could be better?  Lol, maybe a little less 'help'? She sure is cute though :D...

...she LOVES the piano!!!!...
...another amazing blessing from a great neighbor!  Painted by hand, wrapped canvas paintings...so beautiful!...
...big boxes make for some of the best FUN...
...switching the girls' room around...the crib and twin bed went and this bunkbed entered the scene...the littlest will eventually sleep full-time on the bottom, is the plan...

...the man-cubs started school the week after Labor Day...Jadon 11th and Kirk 10th at Logos Online School(Classical Christian School from home)...I cannot believe they are in those grades already!!!  The first while of school was some rough sailing in trying to get used to some new teachers, and classes that are growing and stretching their knowledge, but we are now into a groove, balance, and rhythm now.  They also have enrolled in clubs that grabbed their interest...looking forward to seeing how God continues to mold and shape this school year...

...their stations during class time...when working on homework though, they can be found in other locations ;)...

...this little one has exploded into getting INTO EVERYTHING!!!  We never know where we might find her, or the mess we might find, LOL!...(although sometimes we don't feel like laughing :))...
...big brother helping her do pullups...she loved it!...
...wanting to sit with big brother while he played the piano...
...a HOT fall day found these two sweeties enjoying the sprinkler on the trampoline :)...
...why yes, I did agree to have the leash clipped onto my shirt and walked around like a dog, lol :D...
...a new plant stand for this corner in Kirk's room...
...some of Kirk's smoothie bowl creations...

...why yes, I am reading books in the chair for about a max of just a few minutes or maybe seconds, I'll see, LOL :)...
...Daddy's picking up hay help  :)...

...snuggling while finishing an audio story from Lamplighter Kids Podcast...
...Janessa and I went to a wedding...
...while Janessa and I were at the wedding, KeKe was terrorizing the goats with the hotshot...watch out, lol!!!...
...the newest little one on the hobby farm...Bolt is his name...

...this has been such a fun and enjoyable gift...this month's coffee beans and roast...
...relaxing in the hammock...
...hmm, someone decided he liked the new bed arrangement too...
...a trivet that Kirk made and painted...
...Jadon getting 'help' with some of his reading for one of his classes :)...
...enjoying some cookies: warm and fresh from one of our sweetest neighbors :)...
...we weren't getting each other gifts for our anniversary, but my hubby disregarded it and this beautiful bouquet showed up the day of our anniversary...it graced our home with much beauty and love during a tough week...
...yep, the KeKe whirlwind has been here, lol...
...15!!!!!  How can it be that this caring, kind, compassionate, talented, and smart young man is 15 already?!  We love him BIG and are so very thankful for him and the young man he is becoming!....

...those sun rays in a cloudy sky totally change the landscape from bleak to glorious!  So thankful for the reminders to focus on the blessings and not the waves of life...

...may each and everyone be encouraged to look for the blessings of sunrays in each day, week, month, year, and life!  Love to all :)
