July's Jewels

 Howdy All :)

Our month was full!  Parts were enjoying a slower pace and other parts clipped right along.  We felt and saw God working in and through many areas this month.  Here is a snapshot trail of some of July's Jewels that were caught in photos :)...

...we celebrated America's birthday a day early, so Kirk could get in on it before leaving for the rest of the month...

...whew, did I say what a job it is to make sure they have all their gear, label it and pack it?...

...a bittersweet morning to see this man-cub loading up to head to Quest Manhood for a month...the peace God has given our hearts though enables us to send our man-cubs off knowing God is with them and working in their lives in a big way in these weeks...  




...arrived at the same time as a CCA friend, and that also went...

...Jadon was able to meet them at check-in, to say a quick hello...

...fun to see the following morning Quest post these and recognize the silhouette and the back of our man-cubs...


...um, what marker?????  LOL!!....

...an Aldi's find...a bubble blower and has provided the best entertainment...

...Janessa bought this bike with money earned from choring for a neighbor this summer...

...honestly, this one is actually VERY annoying, as he bites and bites hard if you do not pet him, lol!...we cringe when we see him come around the corner, lol!...

...it was a month of puzzles...and I mean LOTS of puzzles and audiobooks were done this month...

...G'ma and G'pa Rokey came for a short visit...we enjoyed an evening in Brownwood with them, then went to Homestead Heritage in Waco, and then on to Big Sandy for the Quest Completion Dinner...

...hotel beds hold a fun attraction for any kid, I think :)...
