Dashing December

Hello to all :)
I am finally getting around to getting Dashing December's tidbits done.  I'll let the snapshots walk you through some of the happenings in Dashing December.  Every month God shows His love and beauty in reminders, big and little that always amaze.
...Kirk being a wise man for the First Blessing event at our church...
...this young lady's recent creation with Mega Blocks...

...some of our Christmas season readings...ah, love a good book...

...fun at the Lehnis Railroad Museum on the Polar Express tour...

...what a fun surprise drawing win...a friend put my name in this drawing and I was surprised to get this little goodie bundle in the mail :)...

...this rock went to Washington State...

...cold day snuggles, even the furball wanted to get in on the warm snuggles :)...

...oh my so funny, this little gal crawled all over the house with this rag in her mouth...she reminded us of a little puppy, lol...

...what an awesome hand-me-down, that I am loving and the girls love it also!  It was an item I wasn't too sure about, as it was so big, but it has been the best toy and provided lots of entertainment for the littlest one :)

...she loves music!!  When she hears Jadon playing the guitar, she makes a beeline for his room, hoping he will pick her up and let her fiddle with his guitar...so sweet :)...

...woohoo, way to go!!...

...she loves horses and loves her riding lessons!...

...the smiles of these two...

...yes, she 'stole' the mower from Daddy :).  She helped Daddy take corn out, with the mower, to the food spot for the deer and jumped on and took off driving around the pasture.  She is a natural driver :)...

...this wee one LOVES being outside...

...yep, we are doing stairs...again...she actually went up the stairs the other day without anyone realizing it, and then started screaming at the top of the stairs...my heart about stopped, but was so very thankful for her being smart enough to not try to come down!...

...they both want the same toy, LOL!  Mittens likes to drag it around the floor by the string and she wants it when the kitty has it ;D...

...unknown to us, Kirk entered Diego and Mittens picture for the Pet Park on World Watch...we were shocked to see at the end of that day's news two of our kitties pictures...

...Logos Online Newspaper...Kirk had three entries: a Christmas joke, was a finalist for the Ugly Christmas sweater contest and one of his rocks was picked for the art section...

...our man-cubs spent a day in Dallas at the Operation Christmas Child box facility, sorting, repacking, and packing shipping containers...they loved helping...Jadon and a friend pause to smile for the camera...

...we were socked...still trying to figure out who :)...

...Living Bethlehem in Burnet...part of our crew and some friends went to see it this year...it was fun, but somewhat disappointing that much was roped off and due to this, it didn't feel as much as if you stepped back into time.  Hopefully, in the future, it will go back to what it has been like in the past...

...Father/Son outing...purposeful time spent together and our second son wanted to go to the Drummer Boy by For King and Country...it was enjoyed :)...

...loved the visit from this sweet young lady from Kansas!  She is a blessing and delight to know!  Thankful she made a trip to visit :)

...Janessa did her hair...all I'll say is she was one BRAVE soul!!!...

...while she was here, we went to a Gelli Plate Painting at Brownwood Art... super fun and creative evening.  These are the two items I did...lol, I could have done more, but it took a bit for my brain to figure out how to do Gelli Plate painting and get creative.  It was an enjoyable evening!...

...a fun afternoon at a friend's house with friends decorating cookies :)...

...this man-cub was shooting bows at targets with some friends...

... these girlies enjoying some girlie time...

...helping Daddy do chores and enjoying the tame hen...

...the butcher steer and two minis(a belted galloway and dexter)...

...mini-puzzles put together while listening to audiobooks...some of Christmas break's first activities :)...

...Praise be to God!  So very thankful for this young man's peace and decision to erect a public covenant with God through baptism!  December's greatest blessing and gift that God bestowed on us this December :)...

...festive outfits for our family small group Bible study Christmas party...they were festive, a neat idea, but not a great idea on an evening that was 85 degrees...we were positively sweating it out that evening and will not do a repeat in future years unless the weather is nice and chilly, lol!...

...playing games...

...plotting the next move...

...Keanna joined the adult's game circle...

...brisket ready to start smoking...

...starting to open our gifts for our Christmas time together...we did not travel this Christmas and the low-key and laid back holidays was needed and a blessing!...

...our Christmas table...

...loved having a last-minute visit from two loved aunts for New Year...
...Kirk helped make these tie-dye shirts with them :)...

...someone didn't want to be in this picture of completed gingerbread houses, due to a fail and almost all eaten house, lol, so he had to be anchored in :D...

...creating gingerbread houses...

...I totally missed getting a pic of our New Year's table, but these are the remaining flowers from the meal...

...an excursion to eat lunch out and grabbing some pics at the train by the courthouse :)...

...oh my, she has started getting into EVERYTHING!.....aaahhhh, send help!!!....

...this gal was thrilled to have one of her great aunts come to riding lessons :)...

...she is doing better each time...

...she loves this horse!...

Hoping each and everyone can look and find God's blessings, beauty, and goodness in each and every day!
Love to all!
