Navigation's of November
Hello to all :)
The navigations of November are flying by!! Time snuck up and out-raced me in many areas in November and has continued into December. Things have been fun, blessings abounding, but just busy these couple of months. Throw in a very mobile baby that sometimes leaves a trail wherever she can get to, hasn't been sleeping well at all, is super fussy and it just adds to the dynamics of life :)
Here are a few snapshots of the navigation's of November :)...
...History Fair and Poetry Chapel at Cross Classical Academy for Janessa...
...they did a great job! Both the History and Poetry were amazing!...
..."After The Party" poem by William Wise was recited by the Kindergarten class with finesse :)...
...for the History part, Janessa was in the tribe of Gad and the continent of Europe...
...a fine group of boys from the running group that meets a couple times a week...our second man-cub has really enjoyed these meets...
...she loves Janessa's dollhouse and Calico Critters, but you know she has decided that she would much rather just climb into it than play on the fringes, lol :)...
...a rock Kirk did for Art Club at Logos...
...a couple of winter rocks...
...someone was THRILLED when this kitty decided to join her in the crib, lol!...
...what a blessing great friends are! Some of Jason's close friends put together a guy's weekend and it was just what Jason needed. He was blessed beyond measure! Thank you! The 'icing on the cake' was all the sons joining them at the end to do zip-lining, obstacle course, and rock climbing...
...Jason spent a week at work in California and he got to pick these amazing mandarins and send them back home...they were SO delicious!... Jason also treated me to have a 'pink drink fairy' drop off Pink drinks that week, thanks to him and the one who played the 'pink drink fairy' :)...
...Keanna LOVIN' those mandarins that Daddy sent home!...she was mauling them, skin and all...when I tried taking this one from her, she let out a wail and frantically grabbed it to her chest and didn't let go :)...
...LOL, these furballs cornered by a mobile baby who loves animals :)...
...these two man-cubs shot their first deer, thanks to one of our neighbors! They were pumped and we are enjoying some great venison right now...
...Kip got this BIG ole guy in the pasture and Jadon put him out of his misery...talk about a big'un!!...
...morning snuggles as the littlest one wakes up--love them!...
...this sweet girl and her Daddy presenting Bible cards at CCA...
...Piano?? YES, please!!! She LOVES and I mean LOOOOVVVEESS the piano...
...this man-cub started doing Macrame and is quite good at it!...
...Thanksgiving week we were blessed and enjoyed having G'pa and G'ma Rokey here with us! Games, book reading, wood splitting, shopping, eating a Thanksgiving meal, and much more were done with them, it was a true blessing having them here...
...Janessa even helped split wood...she handled this machine well...
...the Thanksgiving table...
...loved the flower vases...
...smoked brisket and salmon fillets were the main dishes...it was a full menu bursting with many dishes, dessert, and flavor!! Kirk helped by making the Savory Bread stuffing, Duck egg Maple custards(the best ever), and a refrigerator pumpkin pie...
...we then did Christmas with our Rokey grandparents and celebrated Jason's 40th...
... grabbed a picture of these kiddos...
...40?! How can he be 40 already!? He doesn't feel 40, and I don't think he looks 40! We love this man so much and are thankful for all he does for us! He works hard for us and likes his job, loves God, loves his family, helps with the boys' Algebra, and is the glue that holds everyone together in this household...Happy 40th Birthday Jason and we love you!...
...traditional birthday treat of 'junk' cold cereal for breakfast...
...we closed the month out by getting a few winter holiday decorations up...
...I love to have 2-3 spots in our house that have their decorations changed with each season or current holiday...
Hope this finds everyone enjoying their own navigations of November and into December!
See you all around soon again :)
