August's Ambles

 Hello to all :)

August found us ambling closer to starting school.  A trip to Kansas; which saw us schooling on the road for Janessa and Jadon and Kirk starting school in Kansas.  

Here are some of our August's ambles through these pics :)

...ouch!!!  This caused physical pain, plus the pain of getting it fixed, thankfully everyone is ok!  A collection of bruises and a dent to pride, but nothing more :)...


...These two young men went with their Dad to K-State University in Manhattan, KS to help with some pet food test runs...great experience...



..."our traveling, never stays home yet the sweetest cat ever" aka Mittens, lol...drug this poor guy into the garage one morning and was playing with him...the oldest man-cub rescued him and let him go back into nature :)...

...I do NOT know if we are ready for this, but ready or not, here we go...we have a driver in the house logging his hours off driving with us...where, oh where has the time gone?!?!...

...a gorgeous, beautiful red dragonfly...this pic doesn't do it justice...it was a brilliant, neon red...they are a native Texan dragonfly...

...this gecko fella scared a scream right out of me!  He jumped off the door and hit my neck and ran under my shirt and down my arm...he is a cute little gecko though :)...

...while we were in KS, our jar of the chrysalis hatched out...the gal who house sat for us had the privilege to let them go...:)
