July's Jaunts

Hello to all :)
July's Jaunts saw us enjoying tidbits here at home, picking up Jadon from Quest at ALERT Academy, enjoying family visiting, the guys going to a Promise Keepers weekend, Kirk winding down with his play at the Lyric, and just soaking up the slower-paced days of summer and taking time to smell and notice the beauty of the roses in our daily life...
...4th of July fun with some friends...
... red, white, and blue yogurt popsicles made by this young man...delicious!...

...he made some DF for Janessa to enjoy unhindered :)...

...2021 Quest, all the groups and leaders...

...his Blue platoon...

...the group of Quest guys and leaders singing "His Mercy is More" before receiving graduation certificates...

...super proud of this young man!  It was a tough growing/learning curve, but he is very thankful he did it and plans to head back next summer for the advanced level, then onto the leadership program...he let his parents read his journal, that he had to journal in daily.  It was amazing to see into his time there through his journaling and see how God is working in his life and what he learned in practical life and emergency skills.

...Keanna is FINALLY not crying constantly in the stroller, so it's finding me out walking more with my girlies, love it!...

...how can a kid on wheels resist water puddles, they don't, they just enjoy going right through them and finding everyone on the walk-lol!...

...we had family visit us towards the end of the month...it was lots of fun, full of blessings and memories, and a nice, loose, no-agenda schedule that worked great with having two cute babies in the mix:)...
