June's Jigs

Hello to all!

This month found us settling into a summer routine, although that 'summer routine', has a tendency to change and has its season as it goes through the summer.  We have seemed to catch several rain showers for this area, which has been nice.  June's Jigs saw Jadon heading to Quest at International Alert Academy, Kirk taking on chores for a couple of different neighbors, VBS, a writer's workshop, time with friends, family, and many other things here and there...

Here are snapshots of June's Jigs...

...a crawdad out of our pond that was quite large...

...the rain creating a pond in the duck pen, and yes, it is time to move the ducks to the actual pond...
...the ducks are liking their new home...

...look closely and you will see the heads of eight laying ducks coming up through the pasture quacking for their food, lol!  They now will meet you partway down to the pond for their food...
...the ducks meeting this chore boy for their grain...
...a few more rocks Kirk has recently gotten done...

...en route home from dropping Jadon off, the second son somehow convinced Dad to let him do a couple of rides at a roadside carnival, lol :)....good bonding times hopefully :)...

...June's Jigs saw us enjoying a visit from an aunt and cousin...we thoroughly enjoyed their visit and loved spending time with them and are thankful they stopped to see us in their travels!

...Keanna freely giving smiles to her great aunt...
...she LOVES her bathtime, but does NOT like lotion, lol!!!...

...wow, another birthday already, didn't I just have one, lol?!....my crew made it special...this year it was a gift of a special cake and then taking Keanna whenever she wasn't sleeping and nursing, so I was able to go on a nice long walk, sit in the sauna and enjoy quiet devotion time on the front porch drinking a cup of tea, and I was able to enjoy it and drink it all while it was hot...a great quiet birthday was a blessing this year with a baby :)...
...a gf/df lemon raspberry layered cake from Unrefined Bakery...it was scrumptious!...
...a daddy and his girls...
...waiting to be picked up :)...
...smiles...
...loving being talked too...

Hoping everyone is having a summer filled with making memories, taking time to smell the roses, and counting each and every blessing!
