October's Colors
Hello to family and friends :)
We are hoping this finds everyone doing well and staying healthy. Our month saw changing colors in the trees leaves and changing age for two of our kiddos. Wow, how can time fly SO fast and they are already another year older! It's crazy! Our month was colored throughout with some other fun highlights...
...Kirk's school pic, 8th grade at Cross Classical Academy...
...a fun evening around the fire...
...at Small Group Bible Study we celebrated a little for this one's 5th birthday...
...Daddy helping put together her horse barn...she loves it!...
...our little celebration with just us at our house...
...she made this "birthday cake" all by herself out of some velcro balls :)...
...our traditional birthday breakfast and table...the kids love this, as they don't get cold cereal too often. Some are ready to hang up the ballooon part of it, but I think the cold cereal treat will always be a go :D...
...Diego and Mittens...Mittens came home with us when Kirk went to get his Betta Fish. Mittens has been a great addition and he is the most chill, sweet, loving, purring and table scrap prowling cat, lol!...
...Mittens helping Jadon do some reading for one of his classes...
...Mittens snuggles...
...Sid, Kirk's Betta fish...Sid has been fun to have on the counter and is very pretty centerpiece...
...How can he be 15 already?!?!? We love this young man with his engineering mind, love of fishing and hunting, capable, determined attitude!...
...his birthday supper: seafood, chips, and fries...
...this Grapevine Snail came to visit us from a landscape pot. We kept it for a while, but she seemed to start doing poorly, so we found another home for Mrs Snail, and she is doing fabulous now! The kids had a lot of fun with Mrs Snail while we had her, and someday I'm sure we will have another one in a terrarium type home :)...
...Diego is such a good sport! Here he is the 'doll' and just sits there and watches the scenery go by and plays with the straps on her doll stroller, lol!...
...over fall break, Kirk had fun joining some friends on a Geocaching adventure and visiting a dairy with a ride down the Brazos river...he thoroughly enjoyed the day...
...Kirk and a friend, and our small group blessed us with this gender reveal party for us, and it is a GIRL!!! Janessa was relieved and SO excited!...
...two great friends playing dress-up...
...LOL, the antics of the two cats we have right now can't help but bring a chuckle at times...Diego decided this was a good sleeping position :D...
...meet Archie, the new calf, that will eventually grace our table with beef...he is super sweet and already tame like a puppy and LOVES cookies for a treat :)...
...many evenings have been spent fishing...love all the memories being made and the fun times these evenings bring!...
Praying everyone is staying healthy and safe!
We are well into November by now, but hoping each and everyone found 'colors' to be thankful for in October.
Love to all, until next time :)

I really enjoy reading these. I was looking forward to see you but knee break got in the way. I'm bummed.
