'Roses' of April

Hoping the 'Roses' of April are finding each and everyone reflecting on God's goodness!

...April Fool's Day found many surprises around the house-LOL!...
...quiet Saturday morning devotions found this one dragging her chair out of her room to join us on the couch, love her sweet nature...

...these new kids on the block are loved...
...the 4-legged kids get lots of time spent with them from the 2-legged kids :)...
...our eggs that we set in March hatched...
...here are some of the them, we weren't done hatching yet here...
...to start off they got cuddled in towels at bedtime during book reading...
...then the chicks moved to being toted around in a basket with a towel...
...here we are at church in the car in the parking lot and yep, these chicks enjoyed the sermon too, you think they'll be saints? lol ;)...
...I drew the line when Nessa thought they needed to sit on the table and eat out of her bowl ;)...
...pjs, chicks, early morning sun...its a good life :)...
...we have wanted to try this for a long time...dying eggs with natural ingredients...
...they turned out amazing!...
...great education and science experiment...
...a team effort to make some breakfast cornmeal muffins was a fun blessing :)...

...it was a blessing to reflect, ponder, and discuss the Lord's Supper, Good Friday and Resurrection...

...we couldn't find Nessa, well, found her swimming in the pond!...
...I sometimes wonder if we will survive her being a kid, she has no fear and is SO adventurous-lol...
...PS-if you look closely under the lean-to of the barn, one of the goat kids is using Dulce, the heifer, as a trampoline-lol :)...

...this month found a couple of really sad moments, as we had to say goodbye to two favorite pets...
...this cat has been with us many, many years and will be missed!...

...the other pet, although more on the unusual side...Sunny, the pet chicken...
...Sunny was one-of-a-kind and will be missed also...
...she could be found anywhere people were and would often greet visitors at the front door and would come into the house any chance she got...

...she was also famous for hopping up on laps and helping herself to whatever you had, lol!...
...the boys buried them in the pasture,,,
...a wonderful throwback memory to when the boys were younger and Granny was still alive...
...what fun it was, taking these young, tame geese into Granny at the nursing home with G'pa and a cousin...
...memories are worth making and precious to reflect back on; taking time to smell the roses will always be worth it...
