November's Thankfulness

Hello to all!
Hoping everyone has found things to be thankful for and reflected on all the blessings that God has given to us.  As our family has pondered all the things we have to be thankful for, it has made us more in love with God and in awe of His goodness.  What an awesome God we do serve!
Here is a look at some of our November thankfulness...
...both, Jadon and Kirk, and their teams had their first robotics competition...
...it was a tournament to grow, refine their robotics, and learn...
...History Wax Museum Fair at CCA...
...it was a very neat and interesting event!! I actually learned a fair amount about some famous people I thought I knew a lot about!...
...Galileo here, aka Kirk...
 ...Albert Einstein, aka Jadon...
...love it when siblings are in harmony...
...big brother reading a favorite book to her...
...Jadon's homeade Turkish Delight for a school project, it turned out pretty good...
...Jadon's Marmalade Rolls, also another school project...
...I think he officially proved that he can be efficient in the kitchen ;)...
...we love it when we get great friends visiting us!  We had a blast with these Kansas friends!
...gelato stop...
 ...farm fun...
...the love between both sides of the gate was mutual; the goats LOVED the treats and the girls LOVED feeding the goats the treats :D...
...Petsense fun!  Dreaming about which one they would want next for a pet is a highlight in our house...Petsense probably sees us coming and rolls their eyes-LOL!...
...these two are quite the two together :)...
...almost ready for church, but had to take a "Blue Truck" book break-lol!...
...we had such a fun time at the Fall Family Festival at the Heart of Texas Camp...
...zipline and Ga-Ga Ball were some favorties!...
...after some last minute changes, I ended up traveling with Jason to Oregon.  He had some work he did out there and we fit in a couple of hikes and it was also fun just to travel with him.  And I enjoyed the time along the Oregon coast just discovering the beauty there.  We also were able to connect with one of Jason's cousin and family over supper before returning which was a fun blessing...
...this is the beach that the Lewis and Clark expedition boiled ocean water to collect salt before returning back across the states...
 ...Haystack Rock...
...I just love this picture, as the horizon definitely shows that God created the world round...
...the coastline is such a rugged beauty...
 ...loved this quaint town...
 ...broken, but still a beauty...
...a Lewis and Clark monument...
...its amazing how there was so many things about Lewis and Clark, so far from where I grew up!  I grew up in an area that had lots of Lewis and Clark history close.  Its amazing to see different parts of the journey in another part of the States...
 ...Fort Clatsop...
...the winter camp of the Lewis and Clark Expedition...
 ...the Lewis and Clark River...
...the mushrooms in the woods in Oregon were just amazing!...
...this one was about twelve inches tall and as big as a dinner plate...

...this beach has been where lots of movies were filmed, but do not ask me which ones as I don't remember, lol, but I do think it is picturesque!...
...I am not a donut fan, but my hubby kind of likes donuts, lol :)...we compromised and went to a gourmet donut place as a splurge and treat.  I will say these donuts are worth wasting calories and health on for a treat.  These two donuts(Kabota Squash Fritter and Chocolate Bergamot) were the best donuts either one of us have ever eaten!...
...I could also say that waiting for our flight and killing time around the airport, also pushed us to delve into these delectable donuts too-lol :)...
...what a view as we were taking off...
...helping sister build a tall tower...
...photo creds goes to the little sister :)...
...we celebrated another birthday for this precious, caring, God-fearing man that loves God, his family and community.  We are truly blessed to have him as our hubby and dad!  We love you Jason and are thankful for you!...
...hmmmm, this is why there appeared to be an extra chair at the supper table...um....sure go ahead and invite the barnyard to our supper, lol!....
...he did behave himself and stay on the chair-lol :)...
...we ended up staying at home for Thanksgiving...it was simple as I was pretty sick this week with a respiratory bug, but it all worked out okay, as this crew helped make a meal and clean the kitchen...
...I am sure that each and everyone of you are full into December's merry festivities by now.  Praying that each and everyone of you will feel God's joy, peace and love through this holiday season!
Love and blessings to all!
