September's Hues
Hello Family and Friends!
Praying this finds everyone enjoying God's beauty in creation as Autumn tones deepen and turn to reds, golds, tans, browns, and yellows. Amongst the moments caught on camera; there was growth in God as He grows us in trusting Him, resting in His peace and waiting on His timing and direction.
Here are a few snapshots at our September's hues...
...we went to get grocery's at Aldi's, and when there happens to be some rides in the parking lot, well, her smile was worth a couple of rides ;)....
...she LOVES horses(real are better)...
...and she LOVES wheels(these are better real too)-lol!...
...they are small, but these figs were tasty! At least they are ripening before they fall off now....now its to figure out how to get them to grow to full size before ripening...
...some of Jadon's leather working(JR Leatherworks) items he has been doing. He has some for sale! He even has some wrap wristbands that are pretty cool too....
...enjoying a few moments at Riverside park and the tradition of feeding the ducks and geese there...
...love this park!...
...well, she definitely has my Meyer side of the family's love of smoked oysters-lol!!...
...Janessa and her blessing of a sweet friend...
...look close...
...Texan deer just are not scared! I find droppings on the front porch and they have chosen to use three of the young oak trees out front as rubs!! Kirk did a great job spraying on some REALLY smelly stuff to try to deter them from continuing to damage my trees. I like deer, but in my front yard I'd like to keep my trees-lol :)....
...a cool gray cat just chillin' and relaxin'...
...the same cat, just not as chill and relaxed-lol, he was determined to have Kirk's essay become about a gray cat ;)...
...WOW, where does the time fly?!?!?!...
...Kirk's 12th Birthday...
...this young man is such a blessing, joy, thoughtful, kind, compassionate, and great chef amongst many other things. It is a joy to do life with him and celebrate his birthday! Traditional way each kid finds their spot at the table on their birthday morning.
...traditional birthday breakfast(junk cereal, only time I buy it-lol!)...
...Camera for his budding photography and then the pinata ready for the evening of some friends coming to celebrate birthday meal and cake/ice cream with us....
...cracking the pinata :)...
...such a great group of friends in for the evening and we didn't get a real good picture, but every one was such a blessing to come help us celebrate...
...lighting the angel food cake with a family frosting recipe...
Hoping this finds everyone basking in Autumn beauty and transitioning to October's tones.
Love and blessings to all!
God Bless!
