Summer's Closing of August
Hello Family and Friends!
Hoping this finds y'alls summer's closing fun, rested and refueled to dig back into a school routine, if that is your season right now. Our August was fairly low-key, as we finished up a few things, prepared and readied curriculum to start school and enjoying some lazy days just enjoying each other's company, friendship and last moments of no school. Here are a few daily snapshots of just daily goings on...

...it also never fails that she drinks more coffee than I do, I think, but who can resist that sweet face when she asks if she can share coffee with me :)....
...LOL, the other early morning devotion company that doesn't ask for coffee but will serenade with chicken talk-lol!!! :D....Sunny is such a one-of-a-kind chicken...

...our traditional 'Mommy/kids dinner out' when Daddy is traveling for work...

...seriously?! This bird, aka Sunny, needs to learn her roost is IN the chicken house!...
...Sunny was VERY INSISTENT on leaving with us in the van this particular morning. She would fly right back into the van as soon as you set her down...lol...
...anybody want a chicken that thinks she is human? :D...
...we enjoyed a few nights sleeping on the trampoline under the stars...
...beauty of the night sky and so peaceful...
...and yes, the 4-legged friend join us each time :)...
...first day of the 19-20 school year...
...leaving the house for the first classroom day at Cross Classical Academy(2 classroom days, 3 home days working on assignments)...

...after dropping big brothers off for the first time this year, we met sweet friends for some Riverside Park fun: short walk, Vanilla Bean Fraps, feeding the ducks, and playground fun!...

...Sunny thinking that she wasn't close enough and ended up deciding she needed to get up here and then proceeded to climbing on our laps-LOL! She gives us so many good laughs...
