Breezes of July
Hello All!
We had another month that was full, busy, blessed, trying at times, but God's grace and presence were felt at every turn!
Hoping this finds everyone doing well...
The breezes of pictures will share with you our July, although, several things I know come to mind that were not captured on camera...not everything can be captured, right?
Besides, what is caught we had many other things that weren't caught that were just a great a blessing as those that were caught ;)
...Here is Nessa drinking her smoothie, sporting sunglasses she bartered off her brother and watching the garage sale move along that we did-lol...
...our small but 'spicey' firefighter ;)...
...some more changes around our place...
...doing hay one fine hot, sunny afternoon brought so MANY memories back from doing hay in Kansas...we SO enjoyed picking up these small square bales behind the baler and stacking them...
...our first three pullet eggs, went straight to the skillet, and all three kids were fighting over who got which one-lol!...
...Janessa went to a friends house and had a tea party....and this was a monumental moment, as neither brother was with her and mommy left to run a couple of errands and she made it through without melting down-yay, for the small steps!....
...ah, finnnalllyyy, Jadon's turn for a Mommy/Son day date...he choose a very adventurous spelunking...here is the start as we pulled in ;)...
...stopped to snap a pic of this cool rock/tile art...
...we went spelunking for about 4 hours, and went through some very TIGHT tunnels(14"), and they were wet and clay/mud, so needless to say we finished looking like we had 'overalls' on but it was ALL clay/mud!!...we did see some amazing caves and it was worth every minute, sore muscles and bruises!...
...on the return trip home, we swung through a wildlife ranch...
...Yay, we finally went and picked up a baby calf...here we are headed home with him, Money(name credit goes to Janessa-not all of us were as impressed by his given name from her as she was herself-lol). He is a cutie and is becoming very tame and is loving cookie treats as much as the goats!....
...enroute to Kansas to meet up with Kendra's sister/family from Canada...here we are crashing a little over half way there...but take note, its very late and they are still reading, we love them books!...
...Papa Meyer's new puppy, it was love at first sight!...
...low sleep has already caught up with this one, and she has several more packed days to go yet...
...Janessa loving on one of her baby cousins...
...Grandma Rokey holding the two youngest girl cousins at Aunt Audrey's baby shower...
...relaxing at the cabin beach area with some of the Rokey side family...
...Oh fun!! the boys got to go back to our old place and build a survival fort with 3 of their cousins...they loved every minute!...
...finally, she is out on the water this time...she couldn't wait!...although she keeps saying she can do it by herself...
...fish out of our old pond, we set a bank line this time back in Kansas and brought the fillets frozen back to Texas for some yummy fish...
...some fishing and some pond swimming-lol ;)...
...weiner roast with family from Canada at the cabin...
...swinging cousins...
...kayaking...
...2 cousins and 1 puppy ;)...
...feeding the chickens treats with Ma Meyer...
...attempting a first on an off-road hover board, I survived-lol ;)...
...also, another first attempt...he survived but with a bit more soreness-lol ;)...
...cabin naptime for Janessa, meant some cabin pond fun for these boys...
...a game of Wilderness Uno...
...two sisters and a wonderful dirt road :)...
...a Kansan sunset...
... this is going walking with Janessa...
...we did an afternoon of doing corn with an aunt and uncle...we had fun and it is a very tasty blessing and treat, as we brought a good amount done up, frozen in bags back with us...
...the puppy entertaining the cousins...
...last puppy entertainment before the vehicle to Texas says good-bye and heads back to their Texas home...
...back in Texas, kiddos are entertaining themselves jigging to some Celtic tunes and wearing off some cooped up energy from being in the vehicle for many hours :)...
Praying this finds everyone well and wonderful! We will see everyone around for the jigs of August...
Love and blessings to all!
