Swinging into September's Tidbits

Hello!
We have swung right into September....starting school, celebrating our anniversary and a birthday, continuing the process of transitioning fully to Texas for now...here are some tidbit snapshots of September's swingings...
...another home-ade peppermint popsicle-mmm!...
 ...having fun on the merry-go-round...

...out biking up the back country to the hill one evening...
...a DF/GF Chocolate Silk Pie, very yummy...
...peppers growning on the Tower Garden...

...both boys getting a massage, as a special treat, and Janessa trying to figure it all out...
...we spent Labor Day(Sunday/Monday) with Jordan and Leah, in Bastrop...
...Jadon with Janessa and Ava...
...Sunday afternoon/evening was spent at Lake bastrop enjoying swimming, paddle boarding and fun in the sand...

...Monday on our way back home, we stopped at the Austin Aquarium...
...first time we have seen Janessa unsure of ANYTHING; she was very unsure and scared of the iguana and tortiouse!...

...cuddled up reading books again(yes, we are a book lovin' family!)
...this young man surprised me one week that Jason was traveling and made me my decaf home-roasted espresso for me!  It was superbly delicious...
 ...morning devotions with Daddy...
...this Praying Mantis was eating this cricket and we watched it for quite awhile...it furthered the science lesson, as it later was on the hummingbird feeder and chased the hummingbirds, trying to catch them!  It was quite the sight...
...yes, it is raining out, but Kirkie said he would take me outside-lol!...

...all was quiet one morning, this is where she was and stayed right there with her stuffed animals for a long time playing around...

...some friends over enjoying smoothies :)  and then another time at the Brownwood Lake swimming, fishing and kayaking...everyone loved it!...

...rollerblading with daddy!  she was one very determined little girl...
...with some friends at San Saba...
...the suspension bridge...
...and the wedding oak tree...
...the Stephenville pumpkin patch...lots of fun and enjoyed by all!...
...some tidbits of what was there, but there was a lot that didn't get captured; hayrack rides, a HUGE maze, corn shooter, and much more...
 ...going down the haybale slide...

...the rodeo there, cute little whipper-snappers...

 ...the roping competition :)...

 ...the barrel racing competition :)...

 ...the corn pit-Janessa's favorite!...

...one of Kirk's favorite...it took you to a field that looked just like Kansas ;)...

 ...riding tractors...
...picking a 'Sugar Baby' for a sweet baby :D...
...snapshot...
...a game of soccer there with the Bletscher's(friends/coworkers/neighbors---they were there, too) and their foreign exchange students from Italy and Spain...

...gathering water to be sent with supplies for Houston....
 ...Jadon caught the duck!...
...Jason(he is the world's best husband and father--I love him so much!) planned a special anniversary with time with just the two of us and time with our whole family celebrating 15 years!  This was our dinner(roasted duck with mediterranean kebabs and smothered flank steak with potato wedges and zoodles)....it was a wonderful day!
...this special boy turned the BIG 10!!!....i could cry and rejoice at the same time.  Cry because he is growing up TOO fast, but rejoice that he is a healthy 10 year old that has such a loving, kind compassionate heart!  We love you Kirkie and are SO thankful for you!
We always let the boys choose 'what' they want to do for their birthday...again this year, this one chose to have just 'us' for his birthday meal and fun evening(we celebrated 2 days later, because of our schedule)

...eating at Humphrey Pete's with our company, from Kansas, that was here on Kirk's actual birthday...he was very surprised when the waiters showed up with a birthday 'surprise sundae' ;)...
That is all for now folks...hoping that everyone is swinging through September just fine!  We are trying to get buckled down for the ride through October...we wish everyone many blessings and love from us to yous!
