April's Closing Movements...

Hello to all again with April's Closing Movements!  Hope this finds all well and enjoying spring!  We have thoroughly enjoyed spring so far and love feasting on the beauty of God's creation, as everything awakens from Winter's sleep :)

My 'Kansas' cactus that I started back in Kansas from a seedling, is now blooming in Texas!  It is beautiful!

Another Lego creation...

Mega block creation for Janessa by Kirk...

Determined 'Cowgirl'!  She had this horse flying up/down and scooting across the carpet and was mimicking a horse sound the whole time!  Her little bit of hair was even flying up and down-lol :)

At the Chiropractor, that is just around the corner from us because we make 3 trips a week for Jadon right now....this is what happens while waiting...someone else thinks she needs adjusted-LOL!  So, it has become a standard that brother must play 'chiropractor', while we wait ;)

Missy's newest infatuation....attempting to fill Daddy's shoes...

Enchanted Rock State Park hike!  We did a Saturday day trip and met another family here and hiked and adventured through the caves....it was BEAUTIFUL and one of our family's top State Parks to hike at now!

Jason took Jadon and Kirk to a fishing tournament the past Saturday morning...some caught fish, some did not....the boys' catch was the later...but it was still enjoyed! ;)

As 'Mary had a little lamb that followed her home from school one day', Jadon had a chick that followed him home from getting the mail one day....after lots of searching, its owner could not be found....so he became 'Checkers' at our house for a couple of days, as it was discussed what to do with him.  A nice family said they would take him, so now he has a home in the country.  Here are a few pics of his life with us....
Just arrived for the first time at our house....
Cannot handle being by itself...the boys happily obliged it and kept it quite happy!

Night time was a different story, as it squawked LOUDLY by itself in the garage, until we thought it might awaken the neighbors and decided something HAD to be done to QUIET it down!!!....
...ENTER...stuffed Tigger, into the old gecko aquarium for it to cuddle up to and then finally a radio playing right next to the cage calmed this poor chicky down!! :)

In Kansas one of our does kidded and is doing great because of these two ladies and another friend that helped!  Thanks SO much ladies!!! They are in great hands and we definitely don't have to worry a bit!

Dandee and Lio are SO cute!! The boys are dying to be able to hold them and play with them, but until then, pictures/videos will have to suffice!

Jadon and Kirk enjoyed doing AWANA club this spring and was sad to see it end!

We were so blessed and thankful to have this great couple watch our kids one evening so we could go out for a date supper...the boys loved the evening, just as much as we did, and keep asking when we can do that again!  Jason and I enjoyed some very needed chatting to keep our communication lines clear in a season where communication is rather slim at times :)

Mommy and kiddos doing a picnic lunch during a school week, for a needed change of scenery! :)
That's all for now folks...now off to see what the paths of May might hold!
God Bless and love to all :)
