Howdy :) August was settling back home after a season of travel and preparing for the various transitions in our crew for the next season or a new season...moments caught on camera... ...enjoying some Rosie time: washing her, braiding her hair, and then going on a nice walk with her...she is such a cutie of a mini horse... ...all us girlies loved playing with Rosie... ...the pullets are starting to lay...yay!!!... ...RIP Aslan(he lived a good, long betta life) and welcome Topaz... ...monitoring to make sure I am doing the canning correctly, LOL!... ...barnyard roosters canned for the winter for quick meals... ...the gallons of maple syrup we brought back from Kansas are now canned and preserved...canning is such a satisfying accomplishment when you see all the jars lined up on the shelf... ...picking her morning tea :)... ...the last few pictures of the guys' Quest part of their summer... ...we went over for the completion banquet and then enjoyed taking these two out for breakfas...
Hello :) Here is the picture trail of April's Springing Green tidbits...a bit late in getting it out, but it has been a busy May! I know it'll be over in just a few days, but putting the April blog post together late is allowing me to enjoy the April tidbits again: reflecting and enjoying memories, so that's a plus to being late, lol!.... ...this aloe finally bloomed: a tall stalk with yellowish-green flowers that had a very small opening on the bottom... ...the 'just growing' garden... ...early morning quiet time in the backyard... ...strawberry cream home-ade popsicles...the purple layer just has some blue spirulina added to it, to make it pretty...the girls LOVED them!!... ...April Fools...LOL!!! ...blue milk(aka blue spirulina in the milk)... ..."home-ade" ice cream bars...cough, um...aka, chocolate-covered white soap bars...got at least one of them hook, line and sinker with these :D... ...4!!!!! HOW??? Didn't we just bring her home from the ho...
Howdy :) September saw a lot of small things packed into one month...here is the snapshot trail of the month. Once again, not all was caught on camera, not all the pics are snapped by me, and only positive moments are generally caught. If you ever look at these pics and think: wow, their life isn't hard or have challenges or difficulties, how wrong that thought is! It is just that the good and light moments are generally the ones caught...enjoy our September Steppings :)... ...we so enjoyed having this young man here for a bit...we enjoyed touring San Angelo... ...Fort Concho... ...Visitor Center along the Riverwalk... ...one of the many painted sheep... ...more games... ...swimming fun... ...while we were in San Angelo, Dottie calved a cutie: meet Badger... ...LOVIN' the pumpkins and gourds Kirk and his cousin brought back from Kansas!!... ...found their new homes while waiting to be used in cooking in the kitchen... ...some of Grandpa Kusler's glass cologne bot...
