October's Tidbits-Flying By

Hello All!!!

Wow, October is JUST flying by!!!

Here are a few flashes of our happenings......

Janessa's headbands don't last long on her head anymore, but when they do...they can be cute:)

Janessa has turned the dishwasher into a play gym, and she turns it into just that, every chance she gets!!!!

A Sunday afternoon/evening spent out on some ranchland-fun and out in the country!

A visit from some good friends from Fort Hood/Killeen area. It was a fun day to reconnect!

The third baby gecko that has found its way into the duplex! They are kind of cute little fellows :)

We went to Bastrop on a weekend....we went down Saturday, spent the night and got to see new baby cousin Jake and enjoyed meeting the Bastrop congregation....

A Happy 11th Birthday shout-out to this special young man on the 18th! Where has the time gone?! Jadon enjoyed his treats and getting to visit a couple of places in Brownwood.

We are blessed to get to do life with him as our son. We love you Jadon!

Riverside Park....full of ducks and geese that willingly welcome any visitors with bread that are willing to feed them! There is also a 1 1/2 mile walking trail along the Pecan Bayou and playground equipment at one part with a lot of open space and trees. This excursion to Riverside is for Jadon's birthday picnic lunch....

The following pictures are from Riverside, but at another time....Janessa is in LOVE with waterfowl!

This egg became part of our supper and wasn't bad at all! :D

This past Sunday late afternoon/evening spent out at Lake Brownwood State Park....the boys and Jason enjoyed fishing, while Janessa and I hiked some trails...we had a near encounter with a rattlesnake, but other than that, they are beautiful trails and was a good hike!
