...lunar eclipse was beautiful to watch from our back patio...

...before a couple of big rain storms, the pond dried up completely and so this became the 'pond' for the ducks...lol!  They used it begrudgingly.... they went down to only laying 2 eggs from 4-6, so they were not happy campers, lol...

...Rojo, such a little tank...
...Daddy's work copycat...she was ordering ingredients and figuring out trucking schedules :D...
...hot summer, backyard fun...

...she despises things in her hair, except for today, she WANTED this hair band on and acted so proud of it...it lasted all of one day, the next day we were back to tearing everything off or out of her hair, lol :)...
...figuring out which rock is the best to eat, LOL :)...
...the excitement of choring with Daddy, no matter the heat or blistering sun, this is her excitement to go chore ANYTIME...

...the garden is shredded...the water sitting everywhere!!...

...parts of the driveway washed away...
...the pond filled up though, so that was a blessing...note: the ducks love the full pond and promptly started laying 6 eggs in a 24 hr period, they are happy campers again, lol :)...

...the full pond made it fun for some pond swimming with some friends...
...the driveway repair crew: Daddy and the kiddos...

...Mittens, one of the cats, is deadly to the population of lizards, Texas horny toads, and snakes...this one was rescued by our oldest man-cub...
...well, at least one positive aspect of the water hose accidentally left on ALL night, was the ducks were thrilled and decided to camp out in the water...they loved the extra water in the pasture... they were extra super, happy campers :D...
Hoping this finds everyone enjoying their summer!  We are thoroughly enjoying the summer and a break from school.  The slower, less scheduled schedule and rhythm have been needed and a blessing! Go enjoy each moment and make some fabulous memories :)
