January 2020 Welcome

Hello all!
We are well into the year 2020.  We just completed the month of January, as it welcomed in the beginning of the 2020.  We had a blessed month.  There are some uncertainties as to what all our future holds, but we trust and give all of these areas of "not sure" to God and know He holds the key to our future.
These pictures tell the tidbits of our family's January happenings best :)...
...our beginning of January still found us in Kansas, and we celebrated with Jason's family on the first of January.

...Kirk made Gooseberry Fool, a recipe from the Redwall book series cookbook...
...it was very delicious...
...Jason and the boys made a Ga-Ga Ball Pit for Ga-Ga Ball games...
...this game is a lot of fun and easy to incorporate all age levels, and even adults love it ;D...
We did a history search on this game and found that it as Hebrew roots, which was very interesting, as we thought it might be a newer game, but it actually is quite ancient...

...Jadon sold all his goats and bought his first Mini Belted Galloway heifer.  He hopes to breed and sale calves.  After name suggestions and much contemplation, this heifer is now known as Dulce, meaning sweet, for her sweet disposition!  He has saved all the names thought of and suggested for future name selections.  Thanks to all who suggested names :)...
...a couple of hours on a Friday, the boys and some friends spent time playing football and some board games...
...Jadon and Kirk are begging to make it a routine schedule :)...

...the end of the month found us hosting for Heartbeat weekend which is a discipleship weekend.  We hosted the 7th grade boys and leader in our home...it was a time of energy, but blessings abounding with opening our home and getting to know these youngsters and the leader better!  We feel truly blessed to help host this weekend that helps disciple the youth for God's Kingdom....
...between study time, there has to be energy burning time for these boys-lol! :)...

...they passed and are officially orange belts, but are already looking to the next belt and planning on not taking as long to attain it...

...after being awarded their new belts, they are very thankful for the instructors they have...
Hoping this finds everyone healthy and well.  We are looking forward to February and seeing what God has in store for this month.
Blessings and Love :)
